United Pet Shop was born from a simple truth: when you love an animal, you want only the very best for them. This is the story of how two pets changed everything.

Chapter One
The cat who demanded better.
I never considered myself a "cat person." Then one rainy Tuesday, a tiny gray furball wandered into my apartment building and never left. I named her Mochi.
She was picky from day one. She'd sniff a bowl of food and walk away with unmistakable disdain. She'd ignore toys that cost a fortune and obsess over a milk bottle cap. She had opinions — strong ones — and she wasn't afraid to share them.
But then she got sick. Nothing serious, the vet said, but her coat was dull, her energy was low. I started reading every label. I started questioning everything I'd been buying. And I realized: I had no idea what I was actually feeding her.
That not-knowing feeling was the first seed of United Pet Shop.
Chapter Two
The dog who taught us to care.
My business partner Marco had Bruno before he had a proper bed or a dining table. Bruno came first — always. A golden-brown mutt with a crooked ear and the energy of ten dogs, Bruno was the center of Marco's world.
When Bruno tore his paw on a walk, Marco spent an entire weekend researching the best recovery products, the safest antiseptics, the most comfortable recovery collars. He bought seven different things. Six were wrong.
"Why is this so hard?" he texted me at 2am, a photo of Bruno in a cone attached. "Why can't I just trust that what I buy is actually good for him?"
That question was the second seed. And the two of us — bonded by Mochi's fussy palate and Bruno's crooked ear — decided to do something about it.
The Moment Everything Changed
We built the store we always wished existed.
We spent six months testing products with our own pets before we sold a single thing. If Mochi wouldn't eat it, it didn't make the cut. If Bruno wasn't happier using it, it stayed off the shelf. Every product in our store has passed the most rigorous test we know: the love of an animal who can't be fooled.
